Janae and Justin's wedding was very special because, well they are MY KIDS! Janae wanted to incorporate leaves as a design element into her wedding and so we used white skeleton leaves as a starting point. Leaves became the backdrop to everything from the Save the Date cards to the Thank You notes. Each aspect of the wedding was customized with the leaf theme in her colors of white, blue and gray.

The wedding was at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills which has a very big stage and a very long aisle. We used a large column gazebo on the stage, flanked with matching columns and iron candelabras.

The aisle was lined with silver vases holding white silver dollar leaves and floating candles.
The reception space had a very high ceiling so we purchased 2 white tents to ground the space and to help make the reception area feel intimate. Each tent was draped with custom made fabrics to tie into the wedding colors and theme. We used LED lights focused on large tree branches placed in front of gray fabric around the perimeter of the room. The photo shows the space with the overhead lights on, but during the reception the lights were off, casting a warm glow in the room and highlighting the lighted centerpieces and spot lighted cake. We used blue Chinese lanterns up inside the tents to add some color and focused a white spot into it to give the tables under it enough light for guests to see what they were eating.

My husband has been a wedding photographer for over 20 years, so lots of pictures have always been a part of what we do.  Janae and Justin choose to use a photo booth as their guest book. Now they have a personal record of everyone who came to help them celebrate!
Here I am- the MOB with the FOB!

It's hard to be both a wedding planner and the mother of the Bride! Thank you to all my friends who stepped in to make sure every detail fell into place while I spent time with my beautiful daughter!
